The Chairman Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa says a website has been designed for Nigerian business owners and those in the Diaspora to register and participate in the upcoming Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit.

She disclosed this in Abuja during a press conference as part of preparations for the upcoming second edition of Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa explained that the primary aim of the investment summit is to target Nigerians in the Diaspora who have the competence and skills to invest in the country.
She said the first Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit held last year recorded huge success which attracted investment in various sectors of the economy.
The chairman, Chief Executive of NiDCOM, said this years summit was coming at better time following president Muhammadu Buhari’s presentation of the 2020 national budget and fiscal plans which marks a return to old January to December fiscal year.
A United State investors Dr Corttrel Kinney who indicated interest to invest in sport and other sectors, said he was motivated by the enamors human and natural resources in the country.
The second Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit with the “theme Leveraging Diaspora Resources for Economic Growth” is scheduled for November 6th and 7th 2019.
