NiDCOM To Sign MOU With SMEDAN

In her advocacy bid and synergy with other relevant organizations, the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Wednesday the 27th November, 2019 paid a courtesy visit to the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) at her headquarters in Abuja to discuss areas of partnership/collaboration between the two Agencies in the area of Capacity Building Programme most especially for the victims of the Xenophobic attack in South Africa who just returned home recently.

Nigerians in Diaspora Commission are collaborating with SMEDAN to help build the capacity of over 500 hundred returnees so as to help in their re-integration into the Nigerian society having gone for so long in search of greener pastures.

The SMEDAN DG, Dr. Umaru Dikko Radda in his response first and foremost appreciated the doggedness of Hon. Abike Dabiri -Erewa in ensuring that the Commission came into existence by her consistent effort in the quest for the realization of this great height for our country Nigeria. He also commended the initiative by Nidcom and reiterated his commitment to do all he can to ensure its success.

DG- SMEDAN also suggested the signing of an MoU by the two organizations to further concretize the partnership. He further mentioned the funding window that can also be accessed from the CBN by the returnees of properly harnessed.µ
