We can still make diplomacy work, we are not accepting the killings of our brothers and sisters in South Africa, but we want them to investigate those they are investigating and come to conclusion.‬

BUT WE DO NOT THINK THE SOLUTION IS CLOSING DOWN BUSINESSES, we also have Nigerians working in there, however, I’m assuring you that investigations will be concluded, those who killed Nigerians will be investigated thoroughly, the people that killed Mrs. Chukwu must be identified and those who even did what they did to Tayo are being investigated, So investigations are ongoing , 8 south African policemen are currently in court being trialed for killing Nigerians and our Consular General in South Africa is working day and night on this situation.‬

‪I know you have told us enough is enough but I APPEAL TO YOU THAT LETS DIPLOMACY WORK.‬

‪Do not let’s get to that level where will start killing each other or closing each other’s businesses like i said we are Nigerians and we are peace-loving people, so i appeal to you.‬

‪You have given us your declaration but i still appeal to you that we believe something will still work, the two President will also be meeting sometime this year.

– The Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora commission,
Hon Abike Dabiri.

National President of NANS with Hon Abij Dabiri and Tayo Faniran
