Born in Maiduguri, Borno State, I attended Mafoni Primary School, Maiduguri between 1978 – 1983 where I obtained First Leaving School Certificate. From there, I proceeded to Brigadier Maimalari Day Secondary School, Maiduguri between 1983 – 1989 where I obtained Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
I went to further my studies at Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri between 1991 – 1992, where I obtained Pre-National Diploma result in Business Administration.
I proceeded to University of Maiduguri between 1992-1997 where I bagged B.Sc. Hons. Political Science.
I went back to my Alma Mata (University of Maiduguri) to further my studies where I studied M.Sc. in International Relations between 2000 – 2002.
I was employed into the Federal Civil Service as an Administrative Officer I in 2002. I was deployed to the defunct Department of National Civic Registration in the Ministry of Internal Affairs now Ministry of Interior.
I was redeployed to the State House, Presidential Villa between 2009 – 2019. I rose through the Ranks and promoted to the Rank of an Assistant Director (Administration). I was redeployed to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation where I briefly worked in the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) Department from where I was deployed to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
On assumption of Duty at NIDCOM, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NIDCOM, Her Excellency, Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa appointed me as Acting Director of Programmes Development. The Department is charged with the responsibility of Coordinating Programmes like organizing the National Diaspora Day Celebration, Badagry Door of Return Festival, Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit. The Department also vested with the responsibility in handling Collaboration/Partnership with Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs),
Corporate Organizations International Organisations, Individuals and other Stakeholders that want to contribute their quota towards the socio-economic, cultural and political development of Nigeria. I am married and blessed with Children. My hubbies include reading, intellectual discussion and travelling.
