Dabiri-Erewa Congratulations Adedosu On Black History Month Recognition

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has congratulated Mr. Adebayo Adeniyi Adedosu on his recognition at the Black History Month Awards Ceremony organised by the Toronto Police Service in partnership with The British Methodist Episcopal Church.

In a statement issued by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the Commission’s Head, Media, Public Relations and Protocols, Dabiri-Erewa described the award as a testament to Mr. Adedosu’s commitment to excellence, heroism, and dedicated service to his community.

The NiDCOM Chairman commended Mr. Adedosu for representing Nigeria with pride, stating, “Your recognition for ‘Heroism’ and ‘a Job well done’ is a proud moment for all Nigerians in the diaspora. It is a reflection of the exceptional contributions Nigerians continue to make globally.”

Dabiri-Erewa also emphasised the importance of Nigerians in the diaspora being role models and ambassadors of the country, further encouraging them to sustain the values of hard work and integrity.

The Black History Month Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at The British Methodist Episcopal Church, Toronto, where Mr. Adedosu was honoured alongside other distinguished individuals.

The NiDCOM Boss reiterated the Commission’s commitment to celebrating and supporting Nigerians excelling in their various fields worldwide.
